Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic Delivery Manager to bridge the gap between software development and successful client implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in software development combined with a proven ability to manage project lifecycles, handle customer expectations, and meet rigorous deadlines. A key part of the role involves active customer engagement, understanding client requirements, and preparing compelling project proposals tailored to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deeply understand the architecture and functionality of the software to effectively communicate technical requirements and constraints to both developers and clients.
  •  Prepare, develop, and present comprehensive project proposals, including scope, timelines, budgets, and benefits, tailored to customer initiatives.
  •  Lead end-to-end project planning, from initial scope definition to final deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, security, and compliance to meet customer requirements.
  •  Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing scope, schedule, and resource constraints.
  •  Ability to handle customer expectations, escalations and be the SPOC to close crucial deals.
  •  Act as a bridge between customer needs and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  •  8+ years of experience in program/project management within software development in a service driven setup is a big plus.
  • Proven experience managing customer engagements, developing project proposals, and delivering customer-focused solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, data APIs, and system integration.
  •  Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  •  Ability to navigate complex organizational landscapes and adapt to evolving customer requirements.

Preferred Skills :

  •  Experience in preparing technical and commercial project proposals.
  • Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience working with government or public sector clients in India is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, security standards, and compliance requirements in India (e.g., IT Act, data localization laws).

Location & Work Environment :

  •  Office Location: Bangalore (Located within the IISc Campus).
  •  Work Model: Hybrid (4 days in-office per week).
  •  Travel: Occasional travel to the client site to ensure seamless project delivery and maintain client relationships.
