Objectives

Key Features

Use Cases

Forest-cover change detection using satellite/geospatial time-series data for enforcement and conservation planning.

Biodiversity monitoring dashboards combining field survey and sensor data.

Climate-risk and fire-vulnerability mapping to guide preventive forest-management action.

Evidence-based reporting for forest governance and compliance with national environmental frameworks.

Data / Datasets Available

Geospatial layers (forest boundaries, land-cover), biodiversity survey records, climate data, and operational forestry data (patrols, plantation, incident logs) held by the Rajasthan Forest Department, accessible to authorised government and research partners through the exchange rather than as an open public dataset.

Our Role

CDPG serves as the digital partner and core technology architect, designing the secure, interoperable data exchange in collaboration with JICA DX Lab and Boston Consulting Group.

Impact

Active deployment supporting Rajasthan’s shift toward data-driven, transparent forest governance.
