Powered by the <strong>Agricultural Data Exchange (ADeX)<\/strong>, this transformative initiative is set to revolutionize farming practices by leveraging data-driven innovation.<\/p>\n<p>This landmark initiative was officially launched by <strong>Sri. D. Sridhar Babu Garu<\/strong>, Hon\u2019ble Minister for IT, Government of Telangana as part of the <strong>Praja Palana Praja Vijayotsavalu<\/strong> celebrations on <strong>8th December 2024<\/strong>. With the potential to impact over <strong>60 lakh farmers<\/strong> across Telangana, ADeX is poised to transform the agricultural landscape and enable sustainable growth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ADeX: The Backbone of Agricultural Innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Developed as India\u2019s first <strong>Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) for agriculture<\/strong>, ADeX is a pioneering platform created by CDPG in partnership with the <strong>Government of Telangana\u2019s ITE&amp;C Department<\/strong> and the <strong>World Economic Forum.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ADeX facilitates secure, seamless, and efficient data exchange among agricultural stakeholders, unlocking transformative applications such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Smart Agri-Credit Services<\/strong>: Accelerating institutional credit access for farmers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Soil Nutrient Management<\/strong>: Enhancing crop productivity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Weather-Based Agro-Advisories<\/strong>: Enabling data-driven decision-making.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pest and Crop Management<\/strong>: Protecting yields.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Farm Equipment Uberization<\/strong>: Increasing operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 20px;\">With <strong>10 data providers, 6 data users, and 22 major datasets<\/strong> onboarded, ADeX utilizes APIs and secure data-sharing protocols to ensure reliable and efficient information flow.<\/p>\n<h3>Smart Agri-Credit Services: Bridging Gaps, Empowering Farmers<\/h3>\n<p>Access to timely institutional credit has long been a challenge for farmers, often delayed by complex land records and inefficient manual processes. ADeX addresses these issues by facilitating the digital flow of high-quality, authenticated land and crop data between state agencies and banks.<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with <strong>HDFC Bank<\/strong>, the <strong>Smart Agri-Credit Services<\/strong> initiative has redefined the loan approval process. Farmers can now access institutional loans of <strong>INR 1 lakh within just 2 business days<\/strong>, a significant improvement from the conventional timeline of 30\u201345 days. This integration eliminates the need for extensive documentation, relieving farmers of bureaucratic hurdles and empowering them with faster financial support.<\/p>\n<h3>CDPG: Advancing Data for Public Good<\/h3>\n<p>CDPG is proud to have been instrumental in the technical development of ADeX, reaffirming its commitment to harnessing data for public good.
