The conclave was organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India along with Surat Municipal Corporation &amp; Surat Smart City Corporation Development Ltd. This event is part of the run-up to&nbsp; the&nbsp; Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), a clarion call given by the Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Independence. IUDX was part of the \u2018Digital Duniya\u2019 pavilion where initiatives that empower communities through data and digital technologies were highlighted.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Hon\u2019ble Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, GoI released the <a href=\"https:\/\/iudx.org.in\/portfolio\/iudx-usecase-compendium-2022\/\">IUDX Compendium<\/a>, which is a repository of valuable information related to the conception, implementation and technology behind driving the creation of citizen-centric DataSmart solutions in the urban governance domain. Various dignitaries from the Center and States marked their presence and highlighted achievements under the Smart Cities Mission.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dr Inder Gopal, CEO, IUDX, also took to the dias to showcase the IUDX data exchange platform and gave a live demo on the platform\u2019s strengths to the dignitaries present. This demo was a part of the interactive workshops and immersive sessions that were organized to showcase the benefits availed from digital governance in cities. Multiple speakers from the participating smart cities also talked about how IUDX-based solutions have helped the cities in improving infrastructure and\/or providing more facilities for the citizens.<\/p>\n<p>The event, organised from April 18-20, was a confluence of ideas, innovations and partnerships to discuss the future trajectory of smart urban development in India.
